Join the Group Funding Operations team within the wider global Corporate Operations Group as part of a high-performing and collaborative team responsible for managing the global Funding, Nostro & Liquidity operations for Macquarie Group.

What role will you play?
Sitting within the Global Funding Operations team, you will be responsible for managing the daily funding and liquidity requirements for Macquarie Group. You will be working closely with Group Treasury Markets and the FX Forwards trading teams to provide forecasts, real-time nostro balances, and intraday adjustments to the Group's liquidity position. You will be liaising with Business Units across Macquarie to manage their internal term funding flows with Group Treasury, while also providing end‑to‑end deal lifecycle support for Debt Securities products such as repos, bonds, NCDs, and commercial paper.
In this role, you will be managing AUD RTGS, RITS, Austraclear, and SWIFT obligations on behalf of various Business Units, identifying process improvement opportunities, and collaborating with Finance, Tech, Operations, and Business teams to implement solutions. You will also be leveraging internal Data and AI capabilities to drive strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will be contributing to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives to help foster an environment where all team members feel valued and able to thrive.
What You Offer
3+ years of experience within treasury or financial markets
High accuracy rates and an attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and the aptitude to learn new systems quickly
An innovative and transformational mindset, ready to challenge the status quo
Working knowledge of derivative bookings within a risk management system
Understanding of operational controls and risk framework
The ability to work well in a team environment
Be a highly-motivated self-starter comfortable taking ownership of tasks
Familiarity with Data Analytics and AI tools to create dashboards and build business cases
