Your new companyHays is currently collaborating with a well-established community media organisation based in Darwin. The company works closely with local organisations and advertisers across the Northern Territory. The focus sits on strong relationships, local engagement, and sustainable commercial revenue.Your new roleYou support the Sales Manager to grow sponsorship and advertising revenue. You identify new business opportunities and build long‐term client relationships. You prepare proposals, manage bookings, and support campaign delivery. You work closely with sales, programming, and administration teams. Monthly sales targets guide performance.What you'll need to succeedExperience in sales, sponsorship, advertising, or a customer‐facing role.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Confidence presenting ideas and proposals to clients.Ability to work to targets and manage competing priorities.Strong organisation and attention to detail.Professional approach to relationship building.Microsoft Office skills and experience with CRM or booking systems.Certificate IV with relevant experience, or equivalent.Eligibility for a National Criminal History Check and NT Working with Children Clearance.What you'll get in returnBase salary plus 2-3 percent commission and a market allowance.Hands‐on exposure to media sales and sponsorship campaigns.Opportunity to work with Northern Territory businesses and community groups.Supportive team environment with clear expectations.Darwin‐based role with strong local focus.What you need to do now
