Job Specification
This fixed-term Pharmacist role runs through to March 2026. As a Pharmacist, you'll be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and managing medications with precision and care. You'll provide expert patient counselling, administer vaccinations, and help foster strong relationships within the local community. While you'll work alongside 2-3 Pharmacy Assistants and 1-2 Dispensary Technicians on most days, you will be the sole Pharmacist on Saturdays. Strong communication skills and confidence in delivering professional services independently are essential.
This pharmacy uses the Z Dispense system. You'll also oversee the checking of Webster Packs prepared by technicians.
Skills Required
* General AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
* 2 years community pharmacy experience in Australia.
* Strong communication and patient counselling skills
* Ability to work independently when required
* Competence with Z Dispense (or willingness to learn)
* Experience checking Webster Packs
