Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Contracts Coordinator within procurement to join our Commercial team to drive value, efficiency, and compliance across the supply chain.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full cycle of contract management and procurement activities that support mining operations. This role is central to ensuring our contracts and supply agreements deliver operational excellence, safety, and cost efficiency.
THE ROLE:
Lead and manage the tendering, negotiation, and administration of contracts and procurement agreements.
Partner with operational, maintenance, and technical services teams to deliver fit-for-purpose procurement strategies.
Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and commercial outcomes.
Provide governance and advice on procurement processes in line with company policies and legislative requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise cost savings and value delivery.
Mentor and support junior contracts staff.
ABOUT YOU:
Tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce, or related discipline.
Strong background in contract management and procurement within the mining, resources, or heavy industry sectors.
Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing complex contracts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and deliver commercial outcomes.
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
