About the Role
We are looking for a Delivery Manager to join our R&D team. In this role, you will provide leadership and accountability for the successful end-to-end delivery of R&D initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards while aligned to strategic business priorities.
This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role.
What You'll Do
* Own and be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of R&D projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities
* Lead, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
* Define clear delivery goals and expectations, track progress, and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies
* Drive effective decision-making and prioritisation to ensure optimal use of resources and delivery commitments are met
* Champion Agile delivery practices, facilitate ceremonies, and ensure adherence to Agile best practices
* Provide transparent reporting on delivery performance, milestones, and outcomes to the Head of R&D and senior stakeholders
* Mentor and coach team members to build delivery capability and leadership within the R&D organisation
* Continuously improve delivery frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency, predictability, and quality
* Ensure compliance with company policies, information security standards, and regulatory requirements
* Contribute to a safe and compliant workplace by identifying and reporting risks or incidents promptly
What You'll Bring
* A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
* Proven experience in delivery or project management within software development or R&D environments
* Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to inspire teams and drive accountability
* Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
* Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is desirable
* Experience in technology or financial services environments is a plus
