**Job description**:
**Overview**
The purpose of the Capacity Planner role is to coordinate the work programs between project managers, maintenance planners & operational teams. This role is responsible for maintaining the delivery plan and to monitor and report on progress as per the requirements of the defined work packages.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Facilitate work file completion between project managers, maintenance planners and operational teams.
- Provide detailed reporting and ongoing management of the Jemena Works Program to the Electricity Works Management teams.
- Ensure programs meet time, cost and quality targets as set out in the Network works program.
- Co-ordinate programs and the timing of all Jemena works to minimise costs and to maximise reliability of supply by reducing customer interruptions.
- Recommend changes to works programming to drive efficiencies.
- Provide a rolling capacity forecast.
- Check files for completeness and quality.
- Attend and contribute to Management Operating System meetings.
- Plan and schedule all works, ensuring accurate forecasting of future workload.
- Process work requests, prioritise requests and ensure the delivery of the program to meet timeframes.
- Maintain resource balances to meet competing needs and expectations.
- Provide forecast & recommendations on overflow work & variations to the planned work.
- Track, monitor and report on close out of files/jobs.
- Facilitate fortnightly review meetings with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of work is delivered as per agreed time frames.
**About you**:
- A minimum of 5 years industry experience. Experience in electricity distribution (desired not essential).
- Sound experience in using computerised management systems (eg: SAP) as well as Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated success in the delivery of customer service and project management.
- Understanding of budgeting processes.
- Highly developed verbal, written, interpersonal, communication, facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Intermediate computer literacy skills required to operate, maintain and enhance word processing documents, spreadsheets, presentations, project management and financial information systems.
- Ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders at different levels.
- Understanding of Power BI reporting (desired but not essential).
