Senior Forensic Accounting Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Senior Forensic Accounting Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who is comfortable working through ambiguity and loves an intellectual challenge.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in forensic accounting and disputes, valuation or related industries in Australia and/or overseas. They will be a Qualified Accountant or have similar qualifications.
This role involves executing responsibilities in accordance with HKA standards, including assisting experts in formulating inputs into opinions in their respective areas, delivering and producing draft technical expert reports with appropriate guidance, researching and analysing quantitative and qualitative data, conducting financial analysis and investigations, developing financial models from transactional and financial data, using relevant software tools for research and analysing data, communicating results and work product as appropriate, internally and externally to clients, actively contributing to business development initiatives such as bid and proposal development and being a brand ambassador through different channels.
The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, an attention to detail, exceptional written and communication skills, confidence at juggling and managing multiple matters, while overseeing and coaching more junior staff, integrity, and a strong focus on self-management and self-development.
