About the role As an Operational Service Officer Cleaner, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care by delivering high-quality operational services across the health facility. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients, staff, and visitors, while upholding Queensland Health and NWHHS standards. Key Responsibilities include: * Deliver cleaning, catering, laundry, wardsperson, and kiosk services in line with Queensland Health policies and infection control standards. * Support patient safety and quality care by following procedures, participating in quality improvement, and contributing to sound clinical governance. * Assist clinical staff with non-professional ward duties, including patient transport and basic support tasks. * Provide culturally safe, respectful, and inclusive services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and culturally diverse communities.
