Baker Hughes Process & Pipeline Services (PPS) supports the full lifecycle of customers' assets from pre‐commissioning to decommissioning, helping to reduce future corrosion, improve efficiency and maximize throughput across the oil and gas, power generation, metals and mining sectors.
Responsibilities
* Participate in pre‐job briefing and ensure familiarisation with the work scope.
* Ensure all subordinates are briefed on duties, risks and HSE procedures.
* Assist with preparation of equipment at the Baker Hughes Welshpool facility as required.
* Execute orders, instructions and directions from the Operations Manager in a timely manner.
* Carry out daily maintenance of equipment to keep it ready for jobs at all times.
* Maintain effective communication with the client representative and the Operations Manager.
* Prepare all required field paperwork, including daily reports and timesheets.
* Contribute to continuous training and qualification improvement of employees within the department.
Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience as an On‐Site Machinist, including offshore experience.
* Demonstrated excellent attitude toward safety; participation in all company safety programs and adherence to all policies.
* Passion to learn and develop skills across other Process and Pipeline Services line items.
* Willingness to work outside Australia when required.
* Full ECITB TMJI certification 10, 11, 18, 19 & 20 or equivalent.
* Ability to work with little to no supervision and exhibit natural leadership.
