The Position Being strategic on their next addition to their Fire team, ideally you will be a Professional Engineer seeking to progress your career or a Senior Fire Services Engineer with a strong local engineering consultancy background. The Key Criteria Relevant Engineering tertiary qualifications Local consultancy and design experience in wet and dry fire systems for Building Services 5 - 12 years in designing fire protection systems Technical competence in providing consulting advice and design of sprinklers, hydrants and hose reels, fire detection & alarm, emergency warning and intercom systems, gas suppression systems and fire extinguishers Project experience to cover Commercial, Residential, Institutional and/or Retail Strong knowledge of fire protection services design with the ability to develop and present integrated solutions to clients Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards and relevant Codes of Practices Lead the department. Wet & Dry experience. Client facing. Must be able to work autonomously. Training junior staff.
