Conservation Program Facilitator
The Central Land Council has a unique opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to facilitate community-led conservation efforts in the Anmatyerr region.
Job Description:
As a Conservation Program Facilitator, you will supervise and support an Aboriginal ranger group in implementing a diverse program of community-led on-ground natural and cultural resource management activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for community-driven conservation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies for promoting community engagement and participation in conservation efforts.
* Collaborate with Aboriginal rangers, traditional owners, CLC staff, and other stakeholders to achieve program objectives.
* Provide training and mentoring opportunities to enhance the personal and professional development of Aboriginal rangers.
Requirements:
* Ochre card (working with vulnerable people check)
* National police clearance (required for specific positions)
* Driver's licence
