The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst – Technology, Systems & Automation to play a key role in delivering enterprise-wide systems improvement, digital transformation, and automation initiatives.
In this role, you will analyse business processes, identify system and automation opportunities, and translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions across our education, construction, automotive, and professional services operations.
This position ensures our enterprise systems are scalable, integrated, compliant, and aligned with business strategy, with a strong focus on automation, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
This is a hands-on ICT role with real scope and influence — not a support or maintenance position. You will work closely with senior leadership to build data-driven, compliant, and scalable operating systems across all entities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis
* Analyse existing business processes across multiple entities and departments
* Identify inefficiencies, duplication, and manual processes
* Document current-state and future-state workflows
* Recommend system and automation improvements aligned with business objectives
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
* Engage with stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements
* Prepare:
* Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
* Functional specifications
* Process maps and user stories
* Translate business needs into clear system and automation requirements
Technology, Systems & Digital Transformation
* Support and contribute to group-wide ICT systems architecture
* Assist with the implementation and optimisation of:
* CRM and workflow platforms
* Finance and ERP systems
* Student, compliance, and regulatory systems
* Design and implement workflow automation using low-code/no-code platforms and AI tools (including ChatGPT-based solutions)
* Reduce manual processing across admissions, operations, finance, and compliance
* Support system integrations, data flows, and API-based solutions
* Ensure automation initiatives deliver measurable efficiency gains and reduced error rates
Data, Reporting & Analytics
* Define data and reporting requirements
* Support the development of dashboards and management reports
* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
* Work with technical teams to resolve data and reporting issues
* Contribute to single-source-of-truth reporting for leadership decision-making
About You
Essential
* Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline
* 3–5 years' experience in an ICT Business Analyst or similar role
* Demonstrated experience in:
* Business process analysis and documentation
* Requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
* Enterprise systems and workflow automation
* Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
* Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
