Reporting to the Team Leader, the Information Management Officer is responsible for providing and maintaining a professional record keeping service across the organisation, ensuring that service delivery is timely, effective and efficient and that meets both customer needs and corporate standards.About YouThe successful appointee must be an enthusiastic and adaptable individual who is well-organised and who has the capability of working in a busy environment in a fast and accurate manner.
As such, applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:Previous experience in a records/information environment (desirable);Experience of using an Electronic Records Management Systems (EDRMs) to manage records throughout their lifecycle, such as digitization and indexing of records;Experience in the administration of Freedom of Information Applications (desirable);Proficient computer skills and excellent attention to detail;Intermediate communication and problem solving skills;The ability to work under pressure while staying calm and motivated in a constantly changing environment; andA positive demeanour with the ability to work effectively and constructively as part of a team.Why join the City of Wanneroo?
