We are seeking an exceptional Culinary Leader to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Plan, direct and supervise food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared in a timely manner.
 * Determine food presentation and create decorative displays that showcase the culinary expertise of our kitchen team.
 * Estimate supplies, such as food and ingredients, to optimize inventory management and minimize waste.
 * Instruct cooks in recipe preparation and garnishing techniques, providing guidance on menu item development and presentation.
 * Maintain stringent sanitation practices and ensure all employees adhere to industry standards.
 * Source and requisition high-quality supplies needed for efficient operation, including fresh produce, meats, and specialty items.
 * Analyze recipes to assign accurate prices to menu items, balancing profitability with customer demand.
Requirements:
 * Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field is required.
 * A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Chef or equivalent role is preferred.
 * Proficiency in modern Australian and Italian cuisine is essential, with knowledge of protein handling and preparation techniques.
