Overview Asset Manager role at BAE Systems Australia. The opportunity to join the Jindalee Operational Radar Network (JORN) program within our Battlespace Integrated Solutions business. This key role reports to the Sustainment Capability Manager and is based at Edinburgh, Adelaide, and offered on a permanent full-time basis. We embrace flexible work arrangements, including a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities
Apply leadership, positive influence and effective communication to engage enterprise stakeholders to develop and maintain commitment to the program strategic asset management plan
Lead and support internal and external audits to maintain the program ISO55001 asset management certification
Provide leadership to a team, coach and develop personnel, fostering a high performance culture
Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximise asset utilisation and value for money outcomes
Monitor the lifecycle of physical and financial assets, including acquisition, maintenance, depreciation, and disposal
Co-ordinate the program total cost of ownership and Life Cycle Cost Model (LCCM) updates and deliveries
Collaborate effectively with customers, internal and external stakeholders, establishing good relationships and maintaining a positive work culture
About You
Extensive asset management experience – Relevant support engineering experience or relevant maintenance experience will also be considered
People leadership experience and technical leadership experience
Positive communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and develop effective working relationships with stakeholders
Knowledge/understanding of risk, cost analysis and finance
Resiliency, good analytical and problem solving skills
