Ventia is hiring a Facility & Assets Manager to help deliver essential services across the Adelaide metropolitan area as part of the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA).
AGFMA is a state-wide contract that supports more than 5,000 government-owned sites and 48 South Australian agencies, including schools, hospitals, courts, and police stations. These facilities play a vital role in delivering essential services to the community every day.
In this permanent full-time role, you'll play a key part in keeping these assets safe, functional and well maintained. You'll manage reactive and preventative maintenance, coordinate small projects and work closely with contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Identify risks and opportunities in maintenance and capital works, implementing plans to meet commercial targets and optimise asset lifecycle costs
* Support delivery of Asset Business Plans and other strategic property planning initiatives
* Analyse reactive maintenance and call-out data to inform asset maintenance and preventative schedules
* Act as the primary contact for technical, facilities management, and asset maintenance matters
* Monitor contractor performance, ensuring delivery aligns with budget, scope, and compliance standards
* Assist with audits, inspections, and reporting on programmed work by subcontractors
* Maintain accurate records to support performance tracking and build strong relationships with agencies, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven ability to work in complex stakeholder environments with a solid understanding of facilities or corporate real estate.
* Demonstrated experience in facilities management or a trade, building, or commercial real estate setting.
* Strong capability in property maintenance and management; trade background not essential.
* Project management qualification or demonstrated experience in a relevant industry.
* Current driver's licence required.
