Job Title: VM Creative Specialist
About the Role:
The VM Creative Specialist provides strategic support to the Head of Visual Merchandising in developing and executing monthly guidelines that bring the brand's vision to life in-store.
* Designs all creative elements for windows, in-store activations, and key retail moments, including props, installations, and fixtures.
* Defines technical specifications, such as materials, dimensions, and colors, for all design elements, ensuring consistency and quality.
* Creates floor layouts and styling guidelines for new collections and product refreshes.
* Provides feedback on department-specific fixtures and produces comprehensive guidebooks to ensure seamless execution by store teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supports the VM Head/Manager in developing, writing, and administering monthly visual merchandising guidelines.
* Leverages the VM strategy and marketing brief to design creative elements, including props, installations, and fixtures for key retail moments.
* Designs all creative for windows and in-store activations.
* Defines technical specifications (materials, dimensions, colors) for all props and fixtures.
* Create detailed guidebooks for store teams to implement new collections, campaigns, and refreshes.
Essential Capabilities:
* Degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
* Previous experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or a similar creative role within a retail environment.
* Proven experience designing and executing in-store displays, window displays, and product presentations.
* Strong understanding and appreciation for the brand's aesthetic and target customer.
* Ability to define technical specifications and communicate them effectively to vendors and contractors.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
