Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Support Worker located in Cardinia, VIC. The Support Worker will assist individuals with their daily activities, provide emotional and practical support, ensure safety and well-being, and adhere to safeguarding protocols. The role involves clear communication, fostering a positive environment, and offering technical assistance when required. Collaboration with team members and adapting to individual needs will be essential to deliver quality care and support.
Qualifications Experience as a Support Worker and ability to deliver high-standard careStrong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilitiesKnowledge of Safeguarding practices and commitment to protecting vulnerable individualsBasic Technical Support skills to assist with relevant technologiesEmpathy, patience, and a client-focused approachAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA certificate or relevant qualification in Community Services, Disability, or related field (desirable)Valid driver’s license and first-aid certification (preferred but not required)
