About the Company
Our client is a market leader in the manufacture and distribution of heavy vehicle equipment with a strong global presence. With a reputation for quality and reliability, they are looking to strengthen their team with a driven customer service professional.
About the Role
Reporting to the Spare Parts and Customer Service Manager, this is a role for someone with sales drive and strong relationship-building skills. You'll be the first point of contact for aftermarket clients and internal service teams, working with them to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
Full product training will be provided – what matters most is your proactive approach and commitment to excellent customer service.
Your day-to-day will include
* Responding to spare parts enquiries and providing exceptional service
* Building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth
* Preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating deliveries
* Following up on leads and opportunities to maximise sales
* Proactively connect with clients to increase parts sales and deliver service excellence
* Assisting with stock control and ad-hoc team support
About You
We are open to backgrounds – you may come from sales, customer service, or a related field – but you'll bring:
* Proven experience in an office based customer service or sales role working toward KPIs
* A proactive, sales-focused mindset and a passion for delivering great service
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
* High attention to detail and organisational skills
* Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel in particular)
* A willingness to learn – product training will be provided
Experience in spare parts/automotive/heavy equipment would be a bonus but is not essential.
