Position Overview:

As a Recruitment Consultant at CHANDLER PERSONNEL, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment and labour-hire processes, from client briefing and sourcing through to placement, onboarding and ongoing workforce support. This position requires strong relationship management, commercial acumen and a proactive approach to candidate sourcing.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
· Partner with clients to understand workforce requirements, job scopes, site conditions and compliance needs across blue-collar environments.
· Develop role briefs and advertising strategies; write job ads and manage postings across suitable platforms and talent channels.
· Source, screen and interview candidates using a mix of database search, referrals, networking and targeted outreach.
· Undertake reference checks, work-right verification and role suitability assessments to ensure quality and compliance.
· Coordinate placements for temporary and permanent roles, including offers, onboarding, inductions and start-date management.
· Maintain and grow talent pools for key skill sets (e.g., forklift drivers, pick-packers, machine operators, trades) to meet demand quickly.
· Manage labour-hire workforce support including roster changes, performance feedback, attendance issues and resolution of on-site queries.
· Accurately update CRM/ATS records, candidate notes and client activity; ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready.
· Provide clients with market insights on availability, pay expectations and lead times; recommend sourcing approaches and staffing solutions.
· Work closely with internal teams to meet service KPIs, fill targets and deliver a high standard of candidate and client experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Relevant qualification.
· Minimum 3 year experience as a Recruitment Consultant
· Proven ability to run end-to-end recruitment, including high-volume sourcing for industrial/blue-collar roles
· Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and customer service skills
· Sound understanding of recruitment compliance (work rights, references, WHS expectations and documentation)
· Organised and resilient, able to prioritise competing vacancies and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $80,000 – $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
