Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol to deliver leading maintenance services to their Lytton site.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Shutdown Mechanical Supervisors to join our shutdown team for upcoming turnaround work, with potential start in late June for 6-8 weeks.
You will be required to provide leadership and to safely execute planned shutdown activities in line with Wood’s responsibilities and scope of work, while reporting to our Lead Shutdown Coordinator.
This is a Brisbane-based role, locally-based applicants are preferred at this time, however, consideration will be given to those living outside of South East Queensland with the required skill-set and experience.
We will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.
* Previous supervisory experience in a similar role within the Energy, Resources and Industrial industries. Oil Refinery experience will be highly regarded
* The successful candidate will have solid experience in leading teams, people leadership, managing conflict, problem solving, project management and change management
* Thorough knowledge and advocate of good HSE behaviours, systems and procedures
* Ability to constructively collaborate across all site departments
* Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to supervise stakeholder relationships
* Good understanding and advocate of Quality Assurance systems and procedures
* Able to work to schedules and prioritise activities and resources to meet work place demands
* Competent in reading Process and Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID’s), Technical Drawings and Maintenance Manuals.
