Cmr is currently recruiting experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for travel contracts across Rockhampton and surrounding Central Queensland facilities. Rockhampton Hospital is a large regional referral hospital servicing Central Queensland, offering exposure to diverse presentations including trauma, acute medical emergencies, resuscitation cases and rural retrieval stabilisation. Surrounding facilities may include smaller regional or rural hospitals requiring strong generalist ED capability. This role is ideal for experienced ED nurses seeking: * Regional referral hospital exposure * Diverse case mix * The flexibility of contract nursing * Competitive pay with travel and accommodation support Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency nursing care including: * Triage and initial patient assessment * Managing acute and high-acuity presentations * Participation in resuscitation and trauma responses * Medication administration including emergency drugs * Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team * Supporting patient flow within a busy ED environment Depending on placement location, you may also be required to demonstrate generalist skills across short stay or acute settings.
