The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) is the peak professional body for quantity surveying professionals.Through its leadership, education, standards, and code of conduct, AIQS ensures that members are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence.AIQS is a not-for-profit that operates with Chapters in each state of Australia and internationally.
The Membership and Skilled Migration Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting AIQS's objectives by:
* Assisting in the onboarding and retention of members.
* Delivering exceptional customer service.
* Collaborating effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
KEY DELIVERABLES
These describe the key outcomes that are to be achieved in the role and a performance standard against the employee will be assessed.
1.Membership
· Work within the membership team to deliver the membership growth and retention strategy and meet set targets
· Assist in the coordination and delivery across all areas of membership to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
· Provide support to ensure that all queries are responded to within a timely and acceptable manner
· Assist with related postal and shipping functions.
2.Skilled Migration
· Provide support to the Skilled Migration Officer in consultation with Membership Engagement Manager
· Assist with the collation and evaluation of skilled migration requirements to ensure that files are complete and ready for further assessment
· Support the coordination of assessors and assignment of files to ensure that assessments are distributed and completed in a timely manner
· Gather and update data to maintain the integrity of skilled migration records.
3.Database management
· Assist the membership team in ensuring the member database content is accurate and current
· Provide support for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
4.Other
· Support other AIQS portfolios as required.
· Provide support and assist team members with special projects.

POSITION SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE:
· A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar customer service role
· Experience within a member-based organisation is preferred
· Excel and MS Office skills
· Ability to communicate effectively to provide clear and helpful information to members, ensuring a positive and supportive experience
· Excellent written communication skills
· Attention to detail is essential
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Proactive and able to use initiative
