Bluefin Resources is assisting our client in the General Insurance industry to recruit several Actuarial Pricing roles for their Personal Lines Pricing team.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly technical team and contribute to data-driven pricing decisions informed by robust analysis and a deep understanding of risk-based pricing.
These are permanent, full-time roles open to candidates in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, offering a hybrid work arrangement along with competitive remuneration and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform end-to-end pricing for the personal lines insurance portfolio through data analysis, modelling, and implementation.
* Conduct technical analysis, including building predictive models.
* Manage and manipulate large, complex data sets.
* Provide insights into market trends and offer recommendations on pricing.
* Manage stakeholder relationships and assist in developing new pricing strategies.
Role Requirements:
* General insurance experience in end-to-end pricing of personal lines products:
* Senior Pricing Analyst: 2+ years
* Pricing Actuary: 5+ years
* Pricing Manager: 7+ years, including prior experience managing a small team
* Strong understanding of statistical modelling techniques, particularly predictive modelling and machine learning approaches (e.g., GLM, GAM, GBM).
* Familiarity with statistical software packages (e.g., EARNIX, RADAR, SAS, R, SQL).
