About the Role
The Logistics Coordinator is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong organizational and communication skills. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across all manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate daily goods movement – receiving, inspecting, storing, and dispatching materials
2. Optimise transport and logistics processes to reduce inefficiencies and improve delivery times.
3. Safely manage transportation of goods across production sites.
4. Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to align logistics with production schedules.
5. Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are available in accordance with manufacturing plans.
6. Oversee documentation for goods movement, including inventory records and stock reconciliation.
7. Use ERP systems to update inventory, process orders, and generate reports.
8. Ensure safety procedures and housekeeping standards are upheld in all logistics operations.
What We're Looking For
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory coordination (preferably within a manufacturing environment).
* A current forklift licence.
* A strong understanding of shipping documentation, freight logistics, and inventory management systems.
* Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* A proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, multitasking environments.
* Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements related to logistics and warehousing.
