Job Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Maintain plant and equipment, ensuring efficient operations across the site.
* Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or multi-trade equipment faults, implementing effective solutions.
* Perform fabrication, welding, fitting, and/or electrical tasks as required.
* Document maintenance activities with accurate detail in the system.
* Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new or modified plant and equipment.
* Liaise with production teams to coordinate maintenance tasks.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending preventative measures.
* Monitor spare parts usage and report ordering needs.
* Support Trades Assistants and apprentices in their development.
Skills and Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
* Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
* High level of autonomy, with ability to work independently.
* Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and quality standards.
* Experience with maintenance management software.
