Aspahltech Asphaltech are looking for an experienced earthmoving Plant Operator. This is a full-time permanent position, and you will be required to work on projects in Bunbury and the Southwest.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the Pre-Start Checklists are carried out prior to the operation of the excavator.
* Able to operate earthmoving plant for road maintenance projects. Operate plant controls/remotes to move, spread, compact material for road projects. Raise and lower the screed using hydraulics to ensure the correct levels.
* Follow specified drawings and plans. Ensure machinery is free of undue maintenance or service by servicing, cleaning, and lubricating. Assist with other civil duties including general labouring, when required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Current Driver's Licence Class C
* Certificates and tickets for earth-moving machinery
* Experience: Proven experience operating plant for road projects
* Experience: Proven experience working on similar projects
* Skills: Technical ability to carry out job effectively

* Physically capable of manual labour

* Ability to solve problems, be resourceful, and improve job outcomes
* Ability to cope with difficult working conditions (noise, heat, dust)
* Willingness to work extra hours
Offer, Training and Benefits
Asphaltech provides training and development throughout employment. Pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen are required as part of recruitment. Pay is hourly rate plus penalties. The range is $76,515 to $85,000 with night shift and overtime. Job types: Full-time, Permanent.

Pay: $76,515.00 – $85,000.00 per year. Education: Certificate I - IV (Required).
