Travel Registered Nurse - Mental Health & Corrections

Are you an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Registered Nurse looking for your next rewarding travel contract in beautiful Tasmania? We have diverse opportunities available in inpatient mental health units, correctional facilities, and community mental health settings.

About You
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 3+ years of recent experience in a relevant mental health setting (e.g., inpatient mental health, forensic mental health/corrections, community mental health, acute psychiatric care).
- Demonstrated expertise in mental health assessment, risk assessment and management, care planning, and therapeutic interventions.
- Strong understanding and application of the Mental Health Act (or similar legislation) and its implications for practice.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions, providing empathetic and person-centred care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, as well as with clients, families, and external agencies.
- Commitment to recovery-oriented practice and trauma-informed care.
- Full Australian working rights are essential. (Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for these positions).
