Blatherskite Park is one of Central Australia’s most significant community venues, home to iconic events and a wide range of recreational, cultural, and sporting activities. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Park Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead a small team, and ensure the Park continues to thrive as a premier destination for the community and visitors alike.
About the Role
Reporting to the Blatherskite Park Trustees, you will:
- Lead and support administration and operations staff.
- Manage budgets, reporting, and operational planning in line with strategic direction set by the Trustees.
- Oversee facilities, grounds, and event delivery with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Build solid partnerships with community groups, event organisers, government, and stakeholders.
About You
We are looking for a capable leader who brings:
- Proven experience in operations, facility, or business management.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Financial management and reporting experience.
- Knowledge of asset/property management and WHS compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A Cert IV or higher qualification in Business, Facility, or Event Management (or equivalent experience) is desirable. You will also need a current driver’s licence, First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain), and flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.
