We are currently seeking a welcoming and organised Administration Officer to provide support to the management team at Bethanie Geneff Aged Care Home.
This role is dynamic and comes with different challenges and opportunities, therefore we are looking for a 'go getter' with a passion for customer service. You will have well developed administration skills along with a genuine interest in the aged care industry.
The Village Administrator provides support to the Village Manager in the day to day operational activities of the village and is a key point of contact for our residents.
This role is offered on a 3-month fixed term contract, working 5 days a week. The working hours are flexible to suit e.g. 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm.
About You
* Demonstrated experience within a busy administrative position, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment, with understanding of financial management databases and payroll / rostering systems an advantage
* High level of attention to detail, with the ability to learn new processes and software quickly
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and report writing skills
* Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
* Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
* Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
* National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)
The Role
* Provide a customer-focused service for employees, residents, visitors and suppliers
* Assist in the collection and recording of resident information related to admissions
* Prepare and maintain admission and information packs
* Assist in management of payroll, rostering and accounts receivable / payable processing
* Assist with enquiries from families in regards to residentsBe the face of Bethanie Geneff Aged Care Home and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
* Other administrative duties as required
