Staff Specialist (Maternal Fetal Medicine or High risk Obstetrics)
The Maternity unit sees a 1000+ births annually and staffing includes experienced midwives with highly respected MGP and KYM schemes.
**The unit is supported by a Level 4 Neonatal and Intensive Care Unit. The role includes providing care for high risk pregnancies and participation in**
**obstetric endocrine and high risk obstetric antenatal clinics. **Participation in obstetric ultrasound including fetal growth and Doppler studies.

**The Facility**

This is Australia's second oldest hospital opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides acute, sub acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.
**The Requirements**
To be eligible you must hold the Fellowship qualification of RANZCOG.
IMG's must hold Specialist/consultant qualifications overseas and have been assessed by RANZCOG as Substantially Comparable.
