The Community Wellbeing Directorate promotes and enhances community wellbeing and social and cultural development through programs, service provision and social policy. In addition to the Director's office, Departments include:

The RoleThe Arts Marketing Coordinator is instrumental in contributing towards the delivery of the Creative Plan and the events, services and programs of the Creative Communities Department. This position is responsible for leading and delivering the development, creation, implementation and evaluation of a range of communications strategies and plans.

The role is to connect and attract people to engage with arts, culture and events by devising appropriate communication plans relevant to the cultural activity. The role works to promote and connect people to a wide range of cultural experiences, including performances at PRACC, festivals & events, Ziebell's Farmhouse Museum, creative workshops and visual arts.

About youThe Arts Marketing Coordinator is a dynamic position that has a deep understanding the creative sector and arts marketing strategies. You will have both a strategic mindset to devise communication plans, and the skill to deliver actions in a timely manner to deliver exception cultural outcomes.

You will experience in arts marketing and translating creative programs into content that connects and reaches target audiences. You will have audience development experience, strong copy writing skills, experience in digital content, and highly developed organisation skills.

There is a renewed enthusiasm and revitalisation of Creative Communities department and creative direction, making it an exciting time to join the team. You will have a strong commitment to the arts and an understanding the impact arts & culture can have to community wellbeing, economic impact, and social cohesion & belonging.
