About our Client:
Our client is a local government authority supporting the Mackay region, delivering essential services and maintaining public spaces that enhance the communitys liveability and environment.
What you will be doing:
* Assisting with general parks and grounds maintenance
* Mowing, whipper snipping and general landscaping duties
* Assisting with garden upkeep, planting and mulching
* Manual labour including lifting, digging and site clean-ups
* Operating basic hand tools and equipment
* Working as part of a team to maintain public spaces and facilities
What you will need:
* Previous labouring or outdoor work experience (parks or maintenance preferred)
* Ability to perform physical work in outdoor conditions
* A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
* Ability to follow instructions and work safely
* Construction Card (White/Blue Card)
* Right to Work in Australia
* Current Driver's Licence
* Ability to pass regular Drug and Alcohol Testing
