Junior School Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. This role is designed to support classroom teachers and provide hands-on assistance to students in the Junior School.
* A commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of all students
* The ability to work effectively within a team and assist classroom teachers
* Experience providing teaching support in 1:1, small group, or whole class situations
The ideal candidate will have:
* Knowledge of literacy and numeracy support strategies with the ability to implement specific learning support programs
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build strong relationships and engage with students, staff, and the school community
Supporting the Christian ethos of the school, the successful candidate will also be willing to assist with playground duties and contribute to the daily operation of the Junior School. Relevant Education Support or other qualification preferred, previous experience in education also preferred.
