Running multiple projects through full life cycle from front end through to delivery on jobs from smaller up to $60m+ but sometimes to $100m+ across a variety of sectors.
Our client is a growing boutique project management consultancy with an established pipeline of projects in Education, Health, Hospitality, Hotels, Aged Care, Office and Government sectors.
We are now seeking an experienced Assistant / Project Manager to join our successful team.
The ideal candidate will come from a head contractor or a client side background (ideally having some client side experience) with excellent progression opportunities. They will have experience working across a variety of construction projects in different phases of the construction lifecycle from front end through to delivery.
Candidates must have strong client facing and stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement of design consultants, construction contractors and other specialist consultants
2. Contracts administration and claims management
3. Management of statutory approval and design development processes
4. Exposure to various construction procurement models and contract types
5. Issues, risk and dispute management
6. Delivery of project management services to clients to agreed scope, schedule and fee budget
7. Preparing tender submissions
8. Developing and maintaining strong networks and delivering outstanding services
9. Managing regulatory approvals
10. Design coordination
11. Stakeholder management and liaison
12. Working in a
