About your role
As an Enrolled Nurse in the Wisteria Unit, you will contribute to high-quality, evidence-based mental health care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference in the lives of people receiving extended care.
You will:
* Deliver safe and compassionate patient care within your scope of practice.
* Support patients in developing daily living and social skills to enhance recovery.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide holistic, person-centred care.
* Assist in planning, documenting, and evaluating patient care in consultation with the RN.
* Uphold quality, safety, and infection control standards in daily practice.
* Provide health promotion and education to patients and carers.
* Mentor and support Assistants in Nursing and contribute to a positive team setting.
About you
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse who thrives in a team environment and is committed to supporting recovery in mental health.
You will bring:
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as an Enrolled Nurse (with medication endorsement).
* Demonstrated ability to provide safe, person-centred care in a mental health setting.
* Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* Ability to work flexibly across all shifts in line with the unit roster.
* A collaborative and compassionate approach to patient care.
