Due to continued growth, Brandt has an opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join our Hamilton Sales team.
About the role:
* Represent the company for the sale of equipment to customers, within a geographic area (which Brandt may amend from time to time, at its sole discretion).
* Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
* Implement and maintain regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility.
* Monitor trends in customer business and competitors’ activity/products.
* Maintain all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
* Achieve sales objectives set by Brandt as part of the sales planning process, including but not limited to market share.
* Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events.
* Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
* Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
* Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
* Timely communication of trends, activity, sales reports, etc. to Management.
* Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
About you:
* The ability to grow sales within a specified sales territory.
* Organization skills are a must-have.
* The capability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
* A strong communicator with the skill to effectively influence others.
* Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
* Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset.
