About the Role
We are seeking a passionate psychiatrist with leadership experience to join our headspace Early Psychosis (hEP) program in Lutruwita Tasmania. As the Clinical Director, you will lead a transformative mental health service that gives young people a chance to recover and thrive.

* Lead clinical services for the headspace Early Psychosis program, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care for young people.
* Provide clinical leadership and professional governance to medical staff, helping them grow and thrive in their roles.
* Collaborate closely with managers to ensure seamless, coordinated mental health care for young people at risk or experiencing psychosis.
* Maintain strong relationships with Tasmanian Health to ensure efficient access to emergency care and inpatient services.
* Oversee and support the EPPIC model of care, ensuring it is implemented with high fidelity to provide the best outcomes.
To excel in this role, you will have:
* Medical qualifications and full registration with AHPRA, along with Fellowship in the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).
* A proven track record in clinical psychiatry, with extensive experience in developing and implementing programs for people experiencing mental illness.
* A strong understanding of the Tasmanian mental health sector and relevant legislation.
* Management and administrative experience (desirable but not essential) to help lead the service and implement strategic plans.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills to inspire and educate multi-disciplinary teams and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
