Scope Equipment Hire is a family orientated company specializing in mine site and civil water/slurry management. Scope was established in 2014 and through continuous improvement, has grown to be a trusted leader within the mining industry and site service hire. We are committed to a safe working environment for all. Be part of a team who love challenges involved with diverse work including diagnosis, servicing and minor to major repairs. Our capabilities include the sale, rental and servicing of pumps and associated equipment across the Bowen and Surat Basins. We have an opportunity for a skilled parts & procurement manager to join our Team. Our workshop is based in Mackay. Full time, permanent position.

Duties include but are not limited to:

* Respond to parts & inventory sales via email, telephone & in person.
* Assist customers with requirements ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
* Preparation of quotes and other documentation, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of parts.
* Assist with completion of Spare Parts Supply Tenders.
* Liaise with suppliers to provide accurate information in relation to pricing availability and supply of spare parts for customer orders.
* Ensure customers receive timely communication of any alterations to the confirmed delivery date.
* Follow up on quotations with customers to further promote sales and record responses of special interest.
* Assist workshop with parts ordering.
* Client site visits.

The right candidate will possess:

* Ideally minimum of 2+ years of previous experience in a parts interpreter or pump industry role.
* Previous experience in a parts interpreting or similar customer service role in Mining/ dewatering.
* Be customer focused and committed to providing customer satisfaction.
* Strong administration & computing skills, including a high attention to detail.
* High level sales skills with proven results in achieving targets.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Have initiative and be able to collaborate well as a team.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills essential.
* Valid driver's licence.
