**About the role**
This Ranger Field Services role is based at Nathalia (fixed term through to 30 June 2025) and services a number of parks and reserves, most notably the Barmah National Park which is jointly managed with the Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation. This role will deliver in-park services and on-ground works such as maintenance of assets, infrastructure, and facilities and the field delivery of environmental projects.

**We're looking for someone with**:
- Certificate or Diploma in Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a similar field
- Plant, chainsaw and machinery operation experience
- Demonstrated practical skills in the maintenance and operation of machinery, small equipment and tools
- Demonstrated skills in the maintenance and construction of a range of park facilities, including, signs, campgrounds, fences and walking tracks
- Demonstrated experience in self-management and strong interpersonal skills
