About the role:
Shepparton Private Hospital is looking for a motivated and proactive nurse to join our friendly team and help drive the success of our Day Procedure Unit. In this key leadership role, you'll work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to support the delivery of safe, high-quality care while fostering a collaborative team environment.
As the ANUM, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the unit, with a strong focus on leadership, clinical excellence, and supporting the team.
In this role you will:
* Apply advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing, and evaluating care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
* Support all members of the nursing team, acting as a role model and resource person within the clinical area.
* Support the strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction of the unit and hospital
* Contribute to staff development and team cohesion across the department
* Oversee staff rostering and ensure effective allocation of resources
* Take on NUM responsibilities during periods of leave if required
About you:
* Relevant current registration with AHPRA
* Must have minimum of 2 years' experience in this role or management/leadership role.
* Clinical leadership experience will by highly regarded
* Flexibility to work across a rotating 5-day roster
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $ $ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Associate Nurse Unit Manager yr1-yr2)

Requirements
* Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
