As a Performance Manager, you will be the leader of a tight-knit team integrating into client campaigns to ensure they reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* To manage digital marketing campaigns across various paid media marketing tactics, including Social and SEM, with exceptional client relations skills.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of the client’s business, industry, competitors, key drivers, and environment, and identify opportunities for growth.
* Provide sound reasoning for challenging clients on briefs and suggest alternative approaches that could better meet marketing objectives.
* Create custom implementation strategies for clients, including optimal weights, placements, and buying parameters.
* Analyse and evaluate media proposals with limited guidance, using core principles of the buying process, including analysing, predicting audiences and costs, and tracking and optimizing results.
* Constantly seek ways to improve and enhance schedules to effectively achieve communication goals and cost efficiency.
* Assess delivery against plan and manage the plan to address shortfalls, if any.
* Provide post-campaign reports detailing results against planned KPIs, expenditure, communication goals, and campaign effectiveness, including learnings and recommendations for future campaigns.
* Support the Director in client contract negotiations and evaluate cost, value, and delivery to achieve the best result for clients.
* Prepare contracts/ Proposals for clients.
Clients:
* Maximise client retention and growth.
* Effectively manage client expectations and communicate status updates, resourcing changes, and deadlines.
* Serve as a trusted advisor on media-related matters and provide expert insights on the client's industry, competitors, and key drivers.
* Lead and manage client meetings/daily WIPs and updates, ensuring campaigns and market updates include action items.
Team Management:
* Manage a team of Performance Executives and Coordinators.
* Build goals and manage 30-60-90-day plans for team members.
* Evaluate leave planning for the team and set expectations internally and with clients.
* Achieve zero errors/write offs across all platforms.
* Maintain an open communication environment with the team and keep them informed about changes and updates.
* Motivate team members to exceed client expectations and produce high-quality work.
* Take responsibility for the team’s quality of work and success.
* Effectively manage workflow and resource allocation within the team.
* Support team members in learning best practices.
* Work closely with the Director to manage and develop team members’ careers through coaching and feedback.
* Hold career progression meetings with team members along with the Director and help create development plans.
Financial Management:
* Take ownership of invoicing responsibilities for the team and promptly address any issues.
* Send invoices to the correct client contact in a timely manner and properly file copies of all invoices.
* Implement accurate financial tracking processes, including PO numbers, trackers, etc.
* Track pre-bill invoices accurately and consistently.
* Communicate and resolve financial/billing issues with clients while maintaining strong relationships.
