Health Science Hub (RTO 52806) is expanding its team and seeking passionate educators interested in a role within the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in health sciences who are eager to make a difference by teaching the next generation.
- A Diploma of Nursing or a degree in Nursing, Human Biology, Allied Health, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in healthcare.
You might be a current secondary school teacher looking for a change or a professional from a health-related field (e.g., nursing, paramedicine, allied health) interested in transitioning to education. This role will involve teaching nursing, human biology, and disease processes to students aged 15 to 18, so experience working with this age group is essential.
**Course & Topics You'll Teach**: You will be responsible for delivering training in the following course:
- **Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies (52895WA)**
Training days are available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays during Terms 1, 2, and 3, in Bunbury, and we welcome trainers available one or more days per week.
- Be confident and comfortable presenting to and engaging with students aged 15 to 18.
- Use and adapt to technology in the classroom, including learning management systems, tablets, and educational apps.
- Work collaboratively with the team in person and on line.
- Communicate effectively using online tools.
- Adapt to changes and contribute to ongoing improvements.
- Be comfortable working with anatomy dissections.
