About the role
As a Homecare support worker, you will be providing one on one support to elderly members of our community to live more fulfilling and independent lives by providing person-centered care. You will be assisting clients in their own home environment, excellent opportunity to build relationships working one on one with regular clients. You will work closely with the at home care team to have an in-depth knowledge of clients individual needs. These needs may include:
Personal care (dressing, assist in drying and transfers)
Transportation to and from appointments
Use of aids and personal equipment
About you
You have a passion for caring for the older members of our community and their families while making a difference to someone's everyday life. You value having a flexible working schedule and are able to work autonomously often without direct supervision. You have clear communication skills to support client engagement and a desire to assist clients in reaching their independence goals. For this role you will be expected to have 3 weekdays of availability with a start time of 6:30am.
