About the Role
As a firefighter, you will be working from your local fire station and responsible for various duties such as community fire safety work, attending fires and other emergencies, providing education on fire prevention and safety to different groups of people, and collaborating with other emergency services.
You will be paid for attendance at incidents, training sessions, and community safety activities. To succeed in this role, you need to be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and available across weekdays and/or weekends, including day and/or night work.
The requirements for this role include having a valid driver's license, being an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, and living and/or working within a reasonable distance of the fire station.
