THE ROLE:Reporting to the Managing Director (MD) this role will support all import related functions across a portfolio of products. Supporting the MD in planning, researching, and identifying new suppliers and products.Assisting in end-to-end new product development, including ideation, market research, concept development, prototyping, testing, manufacturing planning, and creating Master File Data.Managing offshore team members, contracted personnel (quality control, 3D rendering, IT), establishing production and quality control priorities, and arranging consolidated shipments to meet supply schedules.Providing administrative support, managing product samples, maintaining Non-Conformance Record (NCR) files, maintaining product data.Responding to product administration queries, participating in projects, and supporting special sample orders.High level stakeholder engagement and relationship building with overseas suppliers to deliver quality outcomes for our local customers.ABOUT YOU:You will be a highly organised, process driven individual who is looking for an opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio.Previous experience in a similar role within a b2b or high-volume import/export or production related environmentExcellent communication skills, high level of attention to detail and exposure to managing stakeholders within a global remit.Process driven and tech savvy, proven experience within the MS Office Suite and ERP systems such as SAPPotential availability to travel internationally.Professional proficiency in MandarinWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?Work close to home, showroom and head office located in Mulgrave.Excellent opportunity to work within a global supply chainTake ownership of the import production cycle from end-to-endCompetitive SalaryCommitment to product excellence and high level customer service through professional development opportunitiesExcellent growth trajectory NEXT STEPS:If this sounds like the right fit for you, we are actively recruiting for this role so APPLY NOW via the link provided.
