About the Role
Working closely with Subject Matter Experts, the BA Lead, and Project Manager you'll play a key role in shaping the future state of business operations ensuring requirements are well‐defined, stakeholders are engaged, and solutions are practical, user‐centred, and cost‐effective.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure future state business requirements meet operational needs and deliver on the benefits outlined in the benefits realisation plan.
* Develop detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
* Apply stakeholder engagement skills to conduct business problem analysis, process mapping, gap analysis, and root cause identification.
* Lead end-to-end interpretation and development of customer journey maps using a human-centred design approach.
* Identify and document functional and non-functional project requirements, evaluating solution options against these.
* Provide high-quality business analysis advice and guidance to team members and stakeholders, devising solutions to complex problems.
* Produce clear, accurate, and high-quality business documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Requirements
* Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within government or large‐scale transformation projects.
* Strong skills in writing User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and business requirements documentation.
* Experience with process mapping, gap analysis, root cause analysis, and customer journey mapping.
* Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
