Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are actively seeking applications for warehouse all-rounder to cover the Day Shift based in Fyshwick.
Overview
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this is a full-time position that involves stock receival, storage and picking & packing customer orders on day-to-day basis. If you have worked in a food industry/warehouse before, consider yourself physically fit, and have a valid forklift licence, this position could be for you.
Your day-to-day routine will look something like this:
* Stock receival, storage, and replenishment.
* Accurately pick and pack customer orders
* Assemble customers' orders and stack pallets correctly.
* Checking orders and raising discrepancies.
* Load/unload vehicles with a forklift and zippy units.
* General cleaning & housekeeping duties as required.
* Other warehouse duties as assigned by the manager.
All about you:
* Must hold a valid forklift license.
* Valid C Class licence desirable
* Minimum 1-year experience working in FMCG/food service environment preferred but not essential.
* Have prior experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment (advantageous).
* A good understanding of HACCP requirements will be beneficial.
* Understand all aspects of OH&S compliance.
* Practice safe and correct manual handling at all times.
