Customer Service Representative - Custom Additives & Chemicals Division
Sales Development Role

As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, as well as prospecting for new business opportunities. You will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and other teams to drive account sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with current customers through regular communication, problem resolution, and order fulfillment.
* Prioritize customer needs and activities, including quoting, sampling, order entry, expediting, logistics, and problem resolution.
* Prospect for and develop new accounts through research, cold calling, lead management, appointment setting, information sharing, quoting, and generating new business.
* Work cooperatively within a team structure and contribute to the overall development of the additives and chemicals division.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years of applicable customer service experience with a demonstrated understanding of the order-to-cash process, including logistics.
* Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
* Strong administrative abilities, attention to detail, excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
Job Functions:
* Clerical-data entry & maintenance (50%): Ensure accurate and timely data entry, maintenance of customer records, and other administrative tasks.
* Personal contact with current customers (20%): Develop and maintain strong relationships with current customers through regular communication, problem resolution, and order fulfillment.
* Personal contact with prospects & leads (20%): Prospect for and develop new accounts through research, cold calling, lead management, appointment setting, information sharing, quoting, and generating new business.
* Interdepartmental contact (10%): Collaborate with other teams to drive account sales and profitability.
