Office Assistant / Customer Service – Technical Support, Spare Parts & Office Support
Role: Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Full Time
Location: Solahart Joondalup
This is a full-time position within the plumbing and renewable energy industry.
What you will be doing
- Answering incoming calls and assisting in-store customers with first-class customer support.
- Assisting customers with technical enquiries related to solar, hot water, and spare parts.
- Processing warranty claims, rebate applications, and service paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Scheduling, booking and dispatching jobs via ServiceM8; managing real-time scheduling for field technicians.
- Maintaining records and invoicing through MYOB and CRM systems.
- Stock control including ordering, receipting, and reconciliation of parts and equipment.
- Supporting sales staff and accounts team with documentation, quotes, and data entry.
- Managing the showroom presentation, ensuring displays and information are up to date.
- General office duties such as filing, correspondence, and reception tasks.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience.
What we are looking for
- Previous CSR or customer-facing experience (plumbing, solar, or trade background highly regarded).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Knowledge of plumbing, solar, or hot water spare parts/technical support is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ServiceM8, MYOB, and CRM systems (or willingness to learn).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail in stock and paperwork management.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
